QUINN-Insurance is delighted with the performance of its new ‘bundled’ product, whereby customers get a €200 reduction on their Household insurance, if they are also customers of the company for their Motor and Health insurances. That has been a contributory factor in the massive growth in household policies on cover.
Currently, QUINN-Insurance has 63,400 household policies, compared to 34,000 twelve months ago and 16,000 eighteen months ago; that represents growth of over 86% in one year and almost 300% in eighteen months.
Since the middle of 2007, QUINN-healthcare has increased its membership by an average of 3,200 new members per month. Given all the turmoil in the health insurance market and the Government’s continued preferred status for one of our competitors, that represents an outstanding performance by the staff of QUINN-healthcare. The Insurance company also offers competitive travel insurance to health insurance customers, and free worldwide travel cover to customers, who buy Health, Motor and Household insurance from the Group. To date, 29,000 customers have availed of these offers.
In aggregate, all these achievements make QUINN-Insurance one of the most important players in the Irish insurance market. In just over eleven years, we have now become recognised as the most competitive provider of insurance products across the Island, as various surveys indicate graphically; we are now in first place for insurance for young drivers and second place overall in Motor insurance; we are number two in Health insurance and number two in liability.
