| QUINN rooftiles commenced production in 1982 with a purpose built factory at Gortmullen, Derrylin. The first plant was capable of producing up to 6 million tiles annually but due to market demand a decision was taken in 1999 to build a new factory on the existing site, doubling the overall capacity. The new rooftile production facility went into production in 2001 and was subsequently expanded again in 2005. One of the most successful products in the range is the Lakeland Slate Range - a thin profile, leading edge tile that delivers the beauty and character of natural slate with the durability, precision manufacturing and cost effectiveness of concrete tiles. QUINN rooftiles is now a major supplier to the construction sector throughout Ireland. | |

Lightweight thermal blocks (Aircrete) offer major advantages within the build process in certain contexts. The QUINN lite facility is the first of its kind in Ireland and now produces a full range of products that are sold throughout the UK and Ireland. QUINN lite blocks are much lighter than conventional concrete, have a faster drying out time and are easier to saw, chase and drill. They allow faster construction times and have an excellent strenght-to-weight ratio along with a fire resistance equal to that of conventional concrete. Architects and builders alike are increasingly turning to Quinn Lite for their building needs. www.quinn-lite.com |
