QUINN-Insurance Pro-Am 2009

QUINN-Insurance are proud to have supported the following organisations at it's annual Pro-Am at the Slieve Russell Hotel, Golf & Country Club, Co. Cavan. The Event now provides support of €16,000 for two local and national charities per year.

COPE Galway

COPE Galway is community based organistion which enables the people of Galway to recognise and address the challenges posed by inequality and isolation in society.

COPE Galway work with partners in the community to provide targeted services –including a refuge for women and children affected by domestic violence, accommodation for homeless people and sustenance and social supports for older people at home.

Their fundraising and outreach activities aim to secure the financial and logistical support required to deliver essential services while promoting public awareness and encouraging positive community engagement.

Kinawley Community Hall Association

The Kinawley Community Hall Association (KCHA) was formed in 2008 as a charitable organization with the objective of creating and maintaining a much needed community space that will be of benefit to all the members of the Kinawley community and its surroundings.

Situated close to the border, Kinawley suffered much over the 30 years of local conflict and a community space will assist in the regeneration of the locality and integration of its people.

This much needed basic infrastructure in the village will provide services to local crèche, schools, scouting, GAA, drama and women’s groups as well as a wide range of related sports activities. The facility is designed to be a model of environmental sustainability and will accommodate the needs of the community at all levels.
