Friendship & Caring Trust

Set up in 1996, the Friendship and Caring Trust (FACT) provides residential accommodation and support for people with learning disabilities, including educational and recreational activities, in the Fermanagh area. The trust runs Barnlee Care home - catering for people with physical or learning disabilities. Barnlee is open to anyone aged 18 and above, with room for 22 residents.

Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind

Founded in 1976, Irish guide dogs for the blind is a unique organisation dedicated to providing services which bring mobility and independence to blind and visually impaired people as well as people with other disabilities. Their services include guide dog training, long cane training, courses in independent living skills and child mobility programmes. They also provide Assistance Dogs to families of children with autism - a first for Europe.

The Organisation aims to provide the highest quality of services in partnership with our clients while planning for the future and valuing clients, volunteers and each other. In doing so they hope to achieve A future where persons who are blind, vision impaired and disabled achieve independence and dignity through our world-class dog and ancillary services.
