Sponsorship Overview

Throughout its history the QUINN group has played a significant and leading role in the development and support of the local community from which it operates. This has been particularly important as the Cavan/Monaghan/Fermanagh area, which historically has been a deprived region, is now a major source of employees and related business associations for the Group. Now one of the largest employers in Ireland it views the implementation of an effective Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy as a critical long-term success factor for the Group as well as an important social duty.

At a local level the Group sponsors numerous sporting and educational activities including local GAA clubs and provincial events including facility development programmes. Recent local schools programmes that have been supported have included the purchase of equipment, contribution to structural redevelopment funds and language support teacher assistance.

Events

The Quinn Manufacturing Group is an international conglomerate but our roots are local, more than twelve hundred of our employees are local and a great many of our customers and suppliers are local.

Equally the Fleadh has a huge international flavour but, for these past three years it has been rooted in Cavan where the organisers have brought a whole new dimension to it and have developed it beyond anyone’s expectation. They deserve to be supported and we are proud to be even a small part of their success.
